iHealthFacts is a question-answer service where people can quickly and easily check the reliability of a health claim circulated by social media.
People can submit their own questions or read already answered questions, for example:

Does eating prunes improve bone density?

Do mobile phones cause infertility?

Is exposure to WiFi associated with brain cancer?

Connection to underlying evidence and IHC Key Concepts

iHealthFacts answers include links to the underlying evidence as well as links to relevant Key Concepts, to encourage people to think critically about health claims.

Who is behind iHealthFacts?

Health Research Board-Trials Methodology Research Network (HRB-TMRN), Evidence Synthesis Ireland, Cochrane Ireland based in the University of Galway, and their partners and evidence advisors have developed and maintain iHealthFacts.
